The Graveyard – 19/11/2019
In this blog, I will give information about the game ‘Graveyard’ I’ll give information on who created it, when it was created and what they used to create the game. Everything I out down will cover everything about the game ~Graveyard’
The developers started prototyping and experimenting the Graveyard game in a trial version of Unity in December 2007 but the game production proper started in January 2008.
The game was made and based in a small town in Belgium, they visit the cemetery where Michaël grew up. (Picture below) He used to like visiting this place and they made the graveyard as the main inspiration for the game.

The software they used to create the game was Unity (Picture below) At first they used the trial version of Unity back in 2007 and then realized that Unity can do a range of things for what they wanted to do and they started to create the game fully in January 2008.

The game was designed by C& Michaël Samyn.
Auriea Harvey is an American artist who was born in Indianapolis in 1971, which will be age 48.
Michaël Samyn is a Belgian artist and programmer who was born in 1968 in Poperinge, Belgium, which will be age 51.
In 1995 Harvey founded Entropy8, a website experimenting with interactivity and the functions of net art. In 1999, she merged her site with Zuper, by fellow artist and designer Michaël Samyn (whom she subsequently married) to create Entropy8Zuper!. they created works such as The Godlove Museum, a website that showcased their storytelling strengths by merging Biblical stories with narratives drawn from their own lives and contemporary culture.
This helps with the game because they both have good storytelling strengths and can both come up with different ideas.
